RAISING MONEY TO DO GOOD IN WAUPACA AND AROUND THE WORLD

Fundraising Enables Generous Giving

Grants for teachers, students and community groups, scholarships, Rotary Youth Exchange, international projects – these are just some of the projects the Rotary Club of Waupaca invests in to meet challenges in our community and around the world. These investments are made possible by our fundraising events.

Casino Royale

Around Valentine’s Day each year, we provide our community with an entertaining evening featuring live music, dancing, good food, and games of chance.

Oktoberfest

Each September, we host this wonderful family-friendly event which features live music, traditional German food, and a wide selection of imported German and local craft beers.

Pints for Polio

In the fall, Waupaca Rotary organizes their annual “Pints for Polio” Fundraiser.  Proceeds from this event contribute to the purchase of polio vaccines, healthcare infrastructure, and public health campaigns.  The event helps Rotary International achieve its goal of a polio-free world. 

Christmas Tree Pickup

Early each January, our club volunteers to pick up Christmas trees from household curbsides within Waupaca city limits. In return, many residents make a donation to support the good work of the Rotary Club of Waupaca.

Aluminum Can Recycling

All year long, our club encourages its members and people in our area to bring empty aluminum cans to the Waupaca Mobile Travel Plaza. Money raised through recycling is used to maintain and improve Riverview Park in Waupaca.

Helping with Community Events

Great events in our community need people to help. In exchange for donations to our Club, our members sign up to work at the Waupaca Strawberry Fest, assist with parking for the city’s annual 4th of July Fireworks Show, and to provide help where needed at the Iola Car Show.
