Tim Neuville,
Event Founder and Sponsor

The Rotary Club of Waupaca  has partnered with Neuville Motors since 2005 to host “Waupaca’s Own Summer Benefit Concert” which is held at the Waupaca High School Performing Arts Center.  The Summer Benefit Concert was originally founded by Tim Neuville, who continues to co-sponsor the event each year.  The performance brings together a delightful blend of musical styles from Broadway to pop!  Admission is open to the general public, and their cost is a “free will offering.”  All concerts have been near sellouts thus far.

A pre-concert entertainment is provided by talented local artists in the lobby each year.  Refreshments (cookies, soda, bars) are sold in the lobby during intermission by Waupaca High School student organizations. The event is heavily supported in the community.  Posters are placed throughout the Waupaca area and newspaper coverage is furnished by the Waupaca County Post.  WDUX Radio provides public service announcements and promotes the concert in their Thursday morning talk show.

This year's event will be held on July 13, 2019.

Concert Announcement:

The Summer Benefit Concert is an important fundraiser for the Waupaca High School Vocal Music Department and the Rotary Club.  A generous donation to the music department is earmarked out of the proceeds and additional funds go toward Rotary projects in the community including educational grants for projects submitted by Waupaca school teachers, “Service Beyond Self” awards in the Middle School, and Rotary’s hugely successful Youth Exchange Program.

The concert showcases the talents of local performing artists. All performers have appeared in lead roles on stage both professionally and in various Waupaca events throughout the years. Concert performers include past graduates of Waupaca High School, current teachers, or others who have performed onstage in a Waupaca area production. Performers who were involved in all of the first 7 years include Dan Wolfram, Kristen Sporakowski, Eric Neuville, Lindsay Neuville, along with pianist Wanda Eikenbary.
