The Rotary Club of Waupaca values diversity and inclusion in our organization. Membership is open to adults of good character and good business, professional and/or community reputationmen who live or work in the greater Waupaca Area. New members are often "sponsored" by current members.
If more than one person in a family wishes to join, provisions are available for structuring a "family membership."
DUES Dues are $520 per year, and may be paid either annually or quarterly. The fiscal year for the club begins on July 1 of each year. The dues are set by the board to recover the costs of all breakfast meals at weekly club meetings, as well as Club administrative expenses, and dues that the Club pays to National and District organizations. This approach ensures that 100% of proceeds from fund raisers or other donations will go directly to charitable causes.
MEETING ATTENDANCE Rotary thrives by the active engagement of our members. Club members are expected to attend at least 60% of all meetings.

"… is to actively support education in the Waupaca area as a means to improve community cooperation and international understanding through the principles of Rotary."
I joined Rotary because I was inspired by the Rotary Youth Exchange program. Hosting a student from another country and having my son become a Rotary kid, changed my life. Rotary opened up the world to me and gave me the gift of friendship with people around the world. As a teacher in the Wisconsin Technical College System, I work with students from around the world as well as central Wisconsin. I have increased value as an employee and in my personal relationships with students from around the world and those who have never traveled out of Wisconsin. I feel I am an ambassador for those who journey here and am able to teach tolerance through example and inclusion. Rotary has increased my level of professionalism through the contacts I have with people whose opinions may not be the same as mine. I hope to continue to use Rotary as a vehicle for promoting peace.
